These pictures I did not take, but I included 'cause they're cool.

This is a picture courtesy the Smithsonian of the first high altitude flight suit. Looks strikingly similar to the first diving suits...

Entitled "Alias" by it's creator. It's a picture
of the actress Jennifer Garner. So?
It was drawn on a computer!

Harold Egerton's famous photo. 'nuff said.

"OnStar. How may we help you Batman?"

A finding like this could shake the very foundations of science...

Created in Blender3d. I love the detail.

The Ecto 1. Every geek's coveted ride.

One of the first fire trucks. It ran on steam.

High speed photo of kevlar and one safe fish.

He set up his camera, "hoping to get some lightning in the distance." Whew! Maybe not distant enough! Great picture.

Philer's (from 4hv) TC. The mirror and the laser make this one awesome pic!

The Bell Jetpack! This is a test run, apparently it worked great, but it's tanks were exausted in well under a minute. The jetpack has made appearances at football games, special events and even the Olympics in the 90s. It now resides in the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum. Think they'd mind if I borrowed it...?

Cool ad. "Ross Allen. HP Labs."

Neat gas pump. "That Good Gulf Gasoline"

A boy and his dog. Also created in Blender3D.

Harold at it again. The bullet is embedded in the smoke; camera flash triggered by the microphone below.

Operator? That's one neat telephone. Check out the hand crank!

The first turbojet engine and it's creator.

Manual typewriters. The top one is interesting because it seems to have the letters on some type of drum instead of the usual hammers. You'll notice one the second too, that the keys aren't "QWERTY"...

Check it out! The first digital "wrist watch."
